Gullibility 1.0, Zim Flour-Bomb Explosion Makes Headlines
IN Harare, newspapers have screamed treason after a bomb explosion hit the main police station. It doesnt seem as though any known individual suffered any sort of injury (physical, psychological or emotional) from the bomb explosion, although it occured during working hours at the busiest police station in the country. Police told newspapers that the bomb “affected” 13 rooms at the police station… more like a marauding rat chewing holes into tables and in a very un-bomb-like fashion, leaving flamables intact. Newspapers have however been swayed to the extreme, going to the extent of linking the “explosion” with the ongoing talks in South Africa. The explosion comes across as a classic example of wet-work, giving authorities a pretext to get rid of unwanted records of torture and state-sponsored violence. A predictable line in future court prosecutions against known perpetrators of violence within the police will be, “Those documents were destroyed in the August 3, 2008 bomb explosion, we no longer have the dockets (There flies evidence that anyone was ever arrested (or tortured) between March 29 and Auguast 3 2008).” The Harare flour-bomb explosion comes three days before the 10th anniverssary of the Nairobi-Dar es Salaam US embassy bombings which left 80 people dead and 1700 injured on August 7, 1998.
Forged Namibian passports and Identity Cards Fly
Forged Namibian IDs and passports believed to have been printed in the UK have been used by international drug syndicates to fly to countries like China, Indonesia and Nepal. In most cases, the IDs and Passports carry the names of unsuspecting Namibian citizens whose identities have been stolen and used to obtain new travel documents. Spelling errors and watermarks betray the forged documents.
