THE 2009 Zanu PF People’s Congress drew to a close with simmering protests over the nomination of central committee members, and some party faithfuls trying to resist the “hijacking” of the party through random SMS messages. President Robert Mugabe (85) managed to ride the turbulent political wave and has come out talking tough.
